Urban Partners and Steinmann Facilities Management were engaged in 2000 to assist the Los Angeles Unified School District with developing a “kit of parts” for standardization of elementary, middle and high school design programs and implementation of a private sector “turnkey” design/build delivery program for new schools.
These protocols were intended to leverage existing District resources and enable an accelerated classroom delivery program.
Work was completed in early 2001.

Master planning
Urban Partners was retained in 2004 to review redevelopment alternatives for a portion of the ten acre campus owned by Orthopaedic Hospital in downtown Los Angeles.
Working with the master planning talents of AC Martin Partners, Urban Partners identified, analyzed and compared 22 alternative housing and mixed-use development scenarios and prepared recommendations to the hospital Board of Directors.
Following recommendations in Urban Partners’ plan, the site was sold to a private developer.
Keller CMS provided technical consulting support.
