In April 2002 The California Endowment, California’s largest health care foundation, selected Urban Partners to provide predevelopment and project entitlement services for a new permanent headquarters campus in downtown Los Angeles.
Adjacent to historic Union Station and Terminal Annex, the campus houses program and administrative offices, a conference center and health research library, with nearly one-third of the building dedicated for community use.
Urban Partners completed its planning, design management, estimating, scheduling and entitlement services in August 2004.
Campus construction was completed in June 2006. The project has earned numerous design honors and the development team was recognized as American Institute of Architects/Los Angeles Chapter “Building Team of the Year” for 2007.
